Mama B & the Boys

Boys are truth with dirt on their face, beauty with a cut on its finger, wisdom with bubble gum in its hair, and the hope of the future with a frog in its pocket.

I look back on the last 5 1/2 months and I can't believe how much Jaren has changed. Ive always been told 'babies grow so fast...cherish it.' But I guess I never realized just how fast! When Jaren was born he weighed 7lbs 6oz and was 19 3/4" long. On Wednesday April 23, 2008 he went for his 6 month check up ((he will be 6 months on May 1st, but we will be out of town so he had to go earlier)) and we found out that he weighs a massive 17lbs 14oz and is 25 1/2" long. My little teeny tiny baby has turned into a rolly polly chunker!
He's so entertaining. Every morning I wake up to him singing me a song or ((if he's in bed cuddling with me)) he will play with my face to wake me up. He's pulling himself, slowly inching his way across the floor. He can sit up on occasion by himself. He loves green beans, sweet potatoes, and squash.

He's the best thing that could ever have happened to Jesse and I. This year for Mother's Day will be so special because I will get to spend it with my wonderful husband and my precious baby boy. We are thinking of maybe going to the Church service at the Mother's Day Shrine on Mother's Day. For those of you that don't know, I'm from Grafton WV, which is where Mother's Day was founded.

I'm so thankful to be able to spend time with my family. Had things not worked out the way they have, Jesse would be in Iraq again right now. God truly works in mysterious ways, and I dare not question it. I just thank him everyday, that Jaren and I have him here with us. Love you Hubby Butt

Okay this was supposed to be a post about Jaren but has turned into a complete gabfest! But I guess thats what blogs are for......

ENJOY!!!
